Dear Resident-Responsible Party,
Visitation
We are excited to announce that on Monday, March 15, 2021, we will begin allowing scheduled visitation for our resident’s families. We will have designated indoor and outdoor (weather permitting) visitation locations. Scheduled visitation is subject to change if the facility were to have an employee/resident who tests positive for Covid-19 or if the positivity rate in Shelby and surrounding counties were to rise above the permitted threshold. Scheduled Visits will be between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm Monday-Friday ONLY.
Residents may have a maximum of 2 visitors at a time for a period of 45 minutes. The same visitor may not visit twice in one day. A maximum of 4 total visitors may be in the facility at any given time.
Visitors must have a negative COVID-19 test within the previous 3 days before visit. The facility can conduct a Rapid Covid-19 test onsite. This test takes 15 minutes to obtain a result. If you plan on having a rapid test completed at the facility, you should arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow testing time. If a visitor wishes to have the on-site rapid test, the visitor must request this when making their visitation appointment.
Face masks are always to be worn for residents and visitors. (indoor or outdoor visitation)
Social distancing of 6 feet must always be strictly followed.
Visitors must be 18 years or older. Children and babies will not be allowed to enter the facility. If a visitor brings a child with them to visit, the visitor will not be permitted to enter the facility.
